Hi everyone, I just thought I would share this little tip I found while I was scrolling through my main hard drive. Go to the hard drive that has the operating system on it (C:) and open it. Then scroll to the folder that says WINDOWS or somthing else depending on the system and open it. Here you should find the familiar sheep icon with the name es.scr under it. Copy this and paste it on your desktop. Double click it to launch ES when you want.

Hi I just downloaded this from the Ubuntu 10.04 software centre. I got it working so it shows as a screensaver like all the cool effects and also downloaded a few extra sheep to get started but they don't flow continuously all the time and it just goes black and plays the next one. However the more recent ones seem to run smoothly in continuous motion, I think those were automatically downloaded over the internet im not sure how it works fully yet. Also I can't seem to vote, I tried pressing f1, f2, f3, f4 e.t.c.

Hi folks! As my title says, I don't know much if anything about the science involved in Electric Sheep, but, I have to say...I installed it on my computer last night and it is beautiful! I really enjoy the show, we sat there last night and just flipped at the sheep that came our way! Using the 2.7 b27 client on Win7-64bit: When I go to the screen saver settings or run the desktop shortcut, I'm being shown as not logged in. So, I choose to log in, and that works fine, but when I chose 'OK' to close the window and re-open the screen saver settings or run the desktop shortcut again, I'm shown as not logged in again. Am I missing something or?

Hey how do i create my own sheep to be displayed as a screen saver with the other sheep ??

Ive noticed that every sheep that I've seen has a black background. It would look really cool to get some variation on this. Some of the sheep I've seen would make for a great effect with a white or orange background. Is there any way to get this done?

Sometimes when Electric Sheep is running, the logo will appear in the upper left corner will display the logo and the bottom right will have the URL. These stay there for a minute or 2. Is there any way to turn that off or to prevent them from popping up while the screen saver is running?

I may have mentioned this before, I don't remember for sure, but I have a suggestion that I feel could be very valuable for users. I believe it's safe to say now that most of us here are using widescreen monitors. I do have an older non-widescreen crt, but realistically, you can't even buy a monitor retail anymore that isn't widescreen. Yet, when you run ES as a screensaver, you have no choice but to have the aspect ratio "stretched" to fill the entire screen, thus distorting the image, and making the image that much more pixellated.
