Greetings. I have been following electric sheep for some time (3 years?) but this i my first post.
Here is my question...
I hang out at two popular 3d communities. In these worlds we can stream in live video or audio streams. So far, what i've done is record short loops of ES (noting electricsheep.org, etc in works) and then played them in the worlds on video screens/playback-scripts. While this does work and is certainly a WOW effect for visitors (many of which have become ES users) . . . I'm wondering if there is any way to live stream electric sheep into a mogulus/livestream or similar technology from some 'master' like it would be on a given PC in "Run" mode ?
I can say that if this was ever possible (if not already) it would be WONDERFUL !!!! There is a whole movement in the 3d communities to have live VJ/DJs, and this would be an incredible tool for that growing community.
Thank you in advance for any replys (i'll even take the bad news ,( )
Thom / a.k.a. Accrete in the 3d communities
(3djay and Kaneva are the 3d communities i'm currently involved with that both allow live streaming or pre-recorded streams. hope that was ok to mention..a mod can delete this if not)

the server does not support
the server does not support live streaming. but it wouldn't be hard to produce one yourself with the linux client, since it makes an x264 stream internally. just replace mplayer with a streamcaster that reads from stdin. contact me by email for more assistance. i am interested in seeing what you've done with it so far, are there any screencaps or web pages with info?
Assist me please spot
replace mplayer with a streamcaster that reads from stdin? novojilov.ilya @ gmail is my mailyou can go into the code and
live stream...
Thank you for the reply. The linux client and idea sounds interesting...sure would be a rip watching an everchanging live ElectricSheep feed in our 3d parties!
The primary 3d world that i am currently using short loops of ElectricSheep is at 3djay.com I am always happy to show visitors and newcomers around 'town'. The technology allows live multiple video and audio streams and is a real kick when you have several dozen 3d avitars whooopin it up on a virtual dance floor to a live VDJ.
here are two screenshots showing ElectricSheep in action over in one of my 3d worlds: (one) and (two)
