cloneing same sheep on 3 monitor

ello.. Got this from a friend at school and he put it on the server computer in our classs... blahh Anyways when i downloaded it for home for my 3 monitors for my computer, seams that none of the multi monitor mode's work iv been messing with the program for about 2 hours trying to figure out why. some times the screens go completly black, also when i have 'single' monitor options selected and have display monitor selected for 1,2 or 3 nothing happeneds, , once it froze my computer, but most of the time it just stretches the picture acress 3 24 inch monitors, so it basicly looks like crap, and i cant get it to just be on one monitor/on each monitor only streched acress all 3, even while the 'cloned,independent, or single' options are selected. **I havent been able to get the sheep on just 1 monitor after messing with it for 2 hours.** btw, some times i noticed it doesnt save your settings, seams like only when (windows 7 64x) when you right click and go to personalize and go to settings from the screen saver screen.

Win7-64, Dual Monitors doesn't work.

I'm experiencing similar. I have dual monitors with the desktop stretched onto both using an Nvidia card. I can't get the display to clone the same sheep onto both, or stretch one onto both. The only thing that seems to work is one sheep on one monitor, while the other goes black, or simply keeps the desktop visible. Occasionally, I'm able to make it appear in windowed mode on only one monitor, but that's it. I understand that stretching it might look like crap because of the fixed resolution, but how can I either clone the same sheep onto BOTH monitors, or run two different sheep, one on each monitor??

In the settings, under the Display tab there are radio buttons to set the Multi Monitor Mode. You can choose Cloned, Independent, and Single. What happens when you set it here? You should also try "Reverse Monitor Order".

its set to cloned and reverse monitor order, click run it poppes up in a 5x5 box, but when i put as screen saver it stretches acress all 3 screen.... EXACTLY i said b4 but u ignore me

It sounds like at the device

It sounds like at the device driver settings you have something to make it appear as if you have one screen. Do you know what that is and can you turn it off?

no its the program, its not

no its the program, its not made for eyefinity it seams like, just like games that dont support it, just stretches across all 3 screens (radeon 5970 vid card, 2 dvi, 1 mini display port), btw normal window screen savers work fine for 3 screen but ES just acts as all 3 monitors are 1, no matter what i make the settings go to

Because Eyefinity isn't multi monitor when it's enabled, look at your screens in catalyst, it's showing 1 screen, NOT 3. They do have multi monitor support but it's for when the extra monitors are in extended mode, NOT in a group (which is eyefinity). And just trust me on this one, I have 2 5870 eyefinity 6 editions with 4 monitors (3 in eyefinity 1 for diagnostics).

ok STILL, messing with extended monitor's, why would it be named 'multi' monitor support (3+) other than dual monitor support, because u cant extend 3 monitors max is 2, its not much more scripting to make ES worth with that, but still im not gunna try helping when i donated and found that produces are to lazy to do a little more programming to make a program work, nice going guys.. ._.-- least you got a tv episode named 'do shape shifters dream of electric sheep'...-- just pisses me off that you guys didn't do much more work to have real multi monitor support, ignoring my post until i bumped it, AND you admited that it works for other people when you never even tested the program your self to make sure it would correctly for ''multi'' monitor support, good thing you dont need to pay for ES or People could sue you guys for false advertisement, little things do matter, i have been on both ends of that

I find your comments quite harsh..
Multi-Monitor support means the ability to support monitors indipendantly.
So, the more that are connected, the more that will function.

If you where to disable this 'eyefinity' for a moment, you would see that this DOES support 3 monitors..
Also.. false advertisement? Hardly.. You can't sue McDonalds for stating that their coffee does not fit in your cup at home.. It's supplied with a cup.

im not saying it dont work at all, yea it works but its streched across 3 monitors so like 20x60 inches so looks like crap, im just saying the multi monitor options dont work and iv tried everything with the settings selecting cloned,independent,or single, but when i try single and go to display monitor to 1,2,or 3 and click 'run' or wait for it to go to screen saver, all monitors just go black...... ** i mean this is a great program and all, just that if i cant get it to work for all 3 monitors and look correct, then idk bout keep useing it **

I'll just say it again when you have 3 monitors in eyefinity they are NOT acting like 3 screens, it is one large screen, the computer only sees 1 screen at 5870x1080 (if they are 24" monitors). It would take a good amount of work to make it work for something very few people have.
