I use my [dual] 16:10 monitors in portrait mode, despite it making electricsheep look even more distorted. Having the ability to pass "-vf rotate=1" to mplayer would be awesome, and save me from having to try and make a batch script to re-encode all sheep with the rotation.
I would very much appreciate this feature! Thanks.
- I have one older machine where I would like to set -framedrop as well as some -lavdopts options (which make a huge difference).
- Adjusting the geometry with -geometry (as has been mentioned before by others on this forum)
- Playing around with options to see if it is possible to fix the issue that electricsheep/mplayer stops the monitor from turning off as it should according to gnome power management settings.
It would not be necessary to include this in the electricsheep-preferences GUI if it is considered too "risky" for the average user, but it would be nice if the option existed e.g. via editing the preferences xml file.

That would be very appreciated.
This is what is pushing me back using the screensaver right now.
