Client doesn't stay logged in

Using the 2.7 b27 client on Win7-64bit: When I go to the screen saver settings or run the desktop shortcut, I'm being shown as not logged in. So, I choose to log in, and that works fine, but when I chose 'OK' to close the window and re-open the screen saver settings or run the desktop shortcut again, I'm shown as not logged in again. Am I missing something or?

the button is not well

the button is not well labeled, it just checks if your name and password are good. every time the screensaver starts it logs you in if possible.
