Using Electric Sheep as the desktop wallpaper

Does anyone have any idea of how this can be done? I'm running windows 7 and have tried using Vital Desktop but I cant get it working. It can see it in the preview window but when I click apply, the preview disappears and it won't work. I have tried using compatibility mode as well as running as administrator. Are there any other programs that will let me run ES as my desktop?
Thanks.

It can be done with the blending!
Actually, there's another way, which does allow blending, and takes the standard settings into account. However, it goes over the top of your icons, so you'll need an empty desktop. Use xwininfo to determine your desktop's window ID, then run this in the terminal:
/usr/lib/xscreensaver/electricsheep -window-id (your window id)
That will replace your desktop with electricsheep, the actual program. Linux only, sorry mac and windows users :P note that it works with any screensaver that doesn't do image manipulation. Those get really weird looking.
I simply put that line into a shell script and have a shortcut in my panel. You could add it to the startup options if you want.
VLC

I've been looking too
Even the Run codes for it make it run full screen, and not in as wallpaper.
I believe it's imposible, untill somebody makes a new application, just for Windows7
There's already a thread on this.
http://community.electricsheep.org/node/3443 has everything you need to set it as the background. Well, almost. But it does have a way for you to not have to manually boot it every time you start your computer.
