Program crashes when trying full screen, and not retrieving flock size and jobs

I felt I'd go for the extra-descriptive title ;-)
Launching in windowed is no problem, although it has yet to (after an hour) determine either size of local flock or time to render (this works fine on another computer). I've tried different resolutions, same result. Pressing Ctrl+f causes the program to crash, and the window disappears. Presently running at 1440x900.

Here's my CPU/Gfx card, in case anyone else is having problems with a similar setup:
Core i5 750 Nvidia GTX 260

This runs fine on my C2D laptop with integrated graphics, I don't understand why it doesn't on my gaming desktop.
Any suggestions? I can post any error logs if needed.

Oh, and I commend the author(s) for this program; best screensaver I've ever found, it's free, and evolves. Perfect :-)

what version graphics drivers

what version graphics drivers do you have? what version of electric sheep? what happens when it comes on as a screensaver?

Thanks

Thanks for getting to this so fast.
1. I'm running driver version 8.17.11.9621 (release 1/11/2010).
2. I have ES v2.7 beta 23
3. Screensaver runs fine, save for not finding local flock count or getting rendering jobs.

Thanks again!

hm, that all looks fine. if you turn on logging, does anything incriminating show up there?
