It's Been more then a year that VJRA been working on something really special. The Phasing out of flock202 took us by surprise.
We are now ready.

The development of this interface was due to the fact that a software formerly named "Shoop (C) 2004 made by Erik Reckase" had a destructive behavior. Although Mr Reckase's idea was a clever one, shoop had one major issue: it was deleting sheeps from the farm and not showing others. If i recall shoop was released as a Zip containing packaged flam applications. Afterward Mr Reckase's released shoop's perl source code and stopped developing shoop for reasons unknown to us.
Only the original objective of Mr Reckase's software has been kept in mind.
None of Mr Reckase code as been used in our project.
The fact that it was GPL and made it public help us a lot ! Thank you.
We do not recommand you to use Mr. Reckase shoop perl or exe Script it has an unpredictable way of DELETING SHEEP!
The reasons we created this:
- Electric sheep is an awesome realization and we wanted to contribute to it
- Sheeps are mind blowing when sequenced.
- Not everyone can afford to have a whole farm to choose from.
- It allowed us to centralize our Sheeps so less duplicates were spread across many computers.
- The number of possibilities and branching of sequenced Sheeps is astronomical.
- It is wonderful to randomly choose a sheep for a particular reason and to follow it's lineage.
- There is a proud accomplishment feeling when you create a long and nice sequence or loop.
- More humans more brains. This goes with the basic idea of Auxetic that expand when pressure is applied.
- Flock 202 is Obsolete So if deleted, recovery is improbable.
- IF you have Sheeps Fropm flock202 that are missing in actionyour welcome to contribute
The next possible advantages are for the New Flock 243.
- In conjunction with the electric sheep screen saver, the flock 243 farm will grow continuously.
- Participants will be tempted to hold-on beloved sheeps and their descendants, to participate in there reproduction democratically by voting for them from the electric sheep .
- It will encourage the voting mechanism by promoting the genetic diversity and forth looping of favored sheeps increasing the incidence of possibilities.This is correlated with results seen in our current echantillons of Flock 202.
Once the hurdles of flock 202 are over, - THEY ARE OVER - JR
most of the way will be paved for flock 243 the same basic principles will apply, only format specific operation will be modified. Mpegs2 VS avi H.264
Format specific operations:
Mpeg2 Flock 202:
- Still pictures were made from the sheep's mpg file with a software named Sheeptoframe.exe we think Sheeptoframe.exe won't work with the newly formatted avi flock 243.
- Sheeps are sanitised and binary concatenated upon lineage creation.
AVI Flock 243:
1.We find a solution to be applied in order to generate the appropriate stills from h264.
2.We are still searching for a straight forward way to concatenate h264 video.
We really like all the works of Mr. ScottDraves.com. and the electricsheep.org comunity and we would like to participate.
