2.7b16 screensaver display was blank

This might help someone:

I had 2.6 installed and working.

Then I installed 2.7b16 but the screensaver display was blank.

Uninstalled 2.6, still blank.

Uninstalled 2.7b16 and reinstalled, now it's working great!

same thing but...

I had the 2.6 and it worked great. Had to download the new 2.7b16, screen is blank and and error report keeps popin up. Uninstalled everything related to Electric sheep and installed the new one. Nothing. Im kinda bummed and dont know what to do.

I'm having the same issue. I just downloaded the newest client today, uninstalled 2.6, and installed the new one. I have the latest drivers for my video card, too.

Nothing shows up. The "Settings" option doesn't work, either. I noticed it autoskipped a bunch of DLLs during the install; I wonder if this is the issue? Unfortunately, I have no way of making them install.

make sure you have the latest

make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics chip/card. also, try downloading the latest client, we keep releasing new versions.
