Heya, im a total noob/retard regarding cgi/scripting/programming and all that stuff.. i was wondering about how to make my own full hd aka 1080p material to run my sheep at, since i have a 42" TV as computer monitor it would be so hot having ES at it at full hd instead of 640x480 wich is resulotion from like 1995 or somet....
I'd be very thankful if someone cared to either link me to some guide or just help me out.
Thanks // bjornfers

the resolution is 800x592,
the resolution is 800x592, 640x480 was the old version. that plus the new renderer and mpeg4 coder makes a huge difference in visual quality.
that said, 1080p does look way better especially on a big screen. see http://scottdraves.com/bluray.html
Well the standard way would
Well the standard way would be to use flam3, but to make HD sheep that would literally take years. And I mean literally.
But if you have a CUDA-capable graphics card you could use flam4 which would go MUCH faster; then rendering HD sheep might be feasible.
Note that version 0.8 requires the CUDA 3.0 beta drivers. Older versions work with the everyday CUDA drivers.
say whaat
aheum im not quite sure if i have a CUDA capable card... got an ati radeon sapphire 1gb hd4870, i guess it aint one of those hi-tech mega geek stuff.
is it an nvidia only stuff or does it work with ati? :p
looked all that stuff up.. how boring... ati sucks.
It's for NVIDIA cards only.
It's for NVIDIA cards only. I had a misunderstanding about the whole driver thing, but I guess it doesn't matter now that we know that it won't work for you anyway.
well thanks for the
well thanks for the help/info/time anyway... guess ill have to get a nvidia to make some hd generated stuff on my own lols... bleh... i saw someone was asking for a server with 1080p streams n stuff, that wont work for a while i thought so thats why i asked this stuffs.
anyway i guess things will evolve and we'll have that in 10 years or something so i supose ill have to wait for my eye candy :(
