I give up
Having tried to get electricsheep working for several days I am giving up on it. Not only have I not been able to get sheep to work but it has managed to break my computer.
I have tried both of the beta versions with no luck. They appear to install and in fact I suspect that they do install as you can see them running in the little monitor shown in the screensave settings window and one of the two versions will actually run if the preview button is clicked.
But they do not launch at the requested time. In fact they don't appear to ever launch as I have left the machine running overnight without any sheep cavorting on my screen.
Worse yet, not only do they now launch but since loading sheep the monitor will not turn off at the requested time either.
Plus as an added benefit none of the default screensavers work anymore either.
Evidently, sheep has crapped on the registry someplace killing the screensavers all together.
This installation was made on a fresh install of 32 bit VISTA Business running on an Intel motherboard with an nvidia display card so I'm not running some off the wall
BTW, sheep used to work on this system when I was running 64 bit VISTA a week or so ago but since I reinstalled VISTA when I upgraded to 1.5 Terabyte drives its been a complete bust.
