CHROMA FOR post rendered movies

I am a regular user of adobe premiere and pinnacle for video editing an I am trying to edit a movie with a 3 background depth and 8-10 full speed morphing sheep with multiple physics added which will move at different routines mimicking cellular life but for the effect to be more believable the background needs to be of solid color instead of just pure black for the screen effects to work, so far i tried isolating black as the green in the green screen effect but the effects have been blurry.... i plan to release this video or videos in creative commons as well as a tutorial so that the community can increase and juxtapose the sheep's expressiveness as seemingly alive ones...but this is my question

IS THERE A WAY TO TURN THE SHEEP'S BLACK BACKGROUND INTO A SOLID COLOR FOR EASIER RENDERING?

all your help will be greatly appreciated

How are you generating your

How are you generating your sheep?

If you edit the xml, you can change the background to 0 255 0 for a bright green bg, but that's if you're rendering your own sheep. You can also make transparent frames by setting the transparency environment variable to 1 before rendering. If you're using AE, I'm not familiar with that plugin.

Apophysis allows you to set the bg, as well.

hey macbony

thanks for the reply ,

well I discovered these fascinating incarnations of math just one month ago, ever since I have been enthralled with them but,yes there is a big BUT, i do not know as of now how to generate them , my programming skills do not go beyond basic html, but if there is something to learn, i will learn it.

how long does it take for a sheep to be rendered on a n offline intel quad core 2.6 ghz 2 gigs of ram and with an envidia 512 8800 gt, (pc at work)?

are there any tutorials you can recommend me...after posting this I will start my searc but ...

my main question is...

IS there any way to re-render the already existing ones just by changing their backgrounds from black to a bright green?

IF SO
where do i get the recipes topace them on the mentioned pcand let them brew overnight?

thanks a ton

For generation use

For generation use Apophysis, but it takes a bit to learn. There's good tutorials online you could try searching for to get started on that. For generating transparent stills of genomes from the server, you just need to get the xml .flame file and the flam3 software from flam3.com.

There's more in depth tutorials out there, but if you're on windows you just need to specify certain environment variables before running flam3-render.

set in=file.flame
set transparency=1
flam3-render
