Some Sheep Cause Client to Crash?

Has anyone else had the problem that one specific sheep will cause your ESheep client to freeze and/or crash? Right now I have my computer display going to a monitor (which turns off after an hour) and a TV which does not turn off. I have come back to check on it a few times, and it was always one sheep that was frozen on the screen. I also tried playing my entire cache (600 MB)in Winamp (after downloading ffdshow) and it crashed on the same one.

it was 00243=02160=02114=01942.avi

Care to enlighten me?

Black Screen

Installed yesterday and when the screen saver kicks in I only see a black screen. Moving the mouse to exit reveals the 'sheep' for a few seconds and then I'm returned to my desktop.

I also noticed once that the right side of my display (about 1.5") turned black and all my open windows were shifted to the left. I couldn't expand them, had to completely reboot.

freezing & appcrash

Hi Kalatix, wish I could help you. I just wanted to comment cause it doesn't seem as though anyone else has. So you're running dual displays too?

I seem to be having a similar problem... though, I haven't tried playing all the sheep externally yet to see if they freeze. I guess really the only similarity between the problem I'm having and the one you describe is the freezing and dual monitors.

I'm running Vistax64 hooked up to an hdtv(1920x1080interlaced) over dvi-hdmi as well as a 24"(1920x1200)monitor on dvi . Running an msi gtx260 videocard.
ElectricSheep 2.7b9 is freezing for me constantly. Usually after it's been running for maybe 5 minutes or so.. sometimes, it'll run for much longer (a couple hours) but it doesn't seem to freeze on the same sheep either. Vista reports that it was an "appcrash" and really doesn't give any other useful info. I close the error, and the screensaver with restart and work fine.. for another few minutes.

I've checked the \programdata\electricsheep\logs\ files.. and my errorlog is pretty small (2kb) only containing a few entries which are all the same - "2008/08/16.14:22:22 - ContentDecoder.cpp[DumpError(115)]: 'No such file or directory'.

In the warning.log for the same timestamp i have - "2008/08/16.14:22:22 - ContentDecoder.cpp[Next(257)]: 'Failed to open C:\ProgramData\ElectricSheep\content\mpeg/00243=01152=01125=01123.avi...'

and finally in info.log: 2008/08/16.14:22:22 - ContentDecoder.cpp[Next(227)]: 'Next()'
2008/08/16.14:22:22 - ContentDecoder.cpp[Next(240)]: 'Playlist->Next ret C:\ProgramData\ElectricSheep\content\mpeg/00243=01152=01125=01123.avi'
2008/08/16.14:22:22 - ContentDecoder.cpp[Open(127)]: 'Opening: C:\ProgramData\ElectricSheep\content\mpeg/00243=01152=01125=01123.avi'
2008/08/16.14:22:22 - ContentDecoder.cpp[ReadPackets(414)]: 'Ending decoder thread...'

I've tried deleting and reinstalling, tried different video drivers, but they all seem to do the same thing. Not sure why I haven't heard any other issue with electricsheep2.7b9 freezing like this.

Hopefully someone will be able to give us some tips that might help.

Freezing and crash

I have had the same problem, only done it once so far, but my specs are vista 64bit, single display, radeonx1300 series, 4 gb ram.
i came back and it had frozen, eventually got to the log in screen and logged back in to my comp and there was a message saying that electric sheep had stopped working. yet to check the error logs.
