I can't get ES to play the MPG file I made

I've used Oxidizer to make an animation for ES. I've exported it from Oxidizer as an MPG file, named it "esp010.mpg", and placed it in the appropriate folder, where the other sheep are. When it tries to play mine, the screen displays the last frame of the previous sheep, indicates "Playing animation #0", and holds until I deactivate.

I've tried this: I put my MPG file in the folder with only one other sheep (00202=20153=20020=20013) I renamed mine 00202=20155=20020=20013 (changing the second number sequence to end in a 5), and ran ES. This time around, the status bar displayed "Playing animation #20155" for just a second (while still showing the final frame of the other sheep), then replayed the other sheep.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've tried to find out how to fix this problem on my own, but with no luck. I'd really like to upload files to the server and/or make some for my own personal use, but so far no dice. Thanks in advance!

to make an mpg that works

to make an mpg that works with the client, use mpeg2enc to encode it.

but you don't need to do this up upload to the server. the server takes genomes, not mpg files. it does the rendering for you.

Lemme see if I've got this right

Okay. I've subbed the designers email list, now I just need to wait for the info on how to upload. Thanks for your help!
