Well I had ElectricSheep working great for weeks now, I was really happy with it. And then suddenly a few days ago, it stopped working. Whenever XScreensaver tries to launch it, there's an error message saying "Child Process ELectricSheep Terminated with signal 15".
When I check my sheep.log file I see lots of these errors:


X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 140 (XVideo)
Minor opcode of failed request: 19 ()
Serial number of failed request: 23
Current serial number in output stream: 23


I renamed my .sheep folder and started over. It correctly downloaded a new sheep, and then promptly died again. I get the same above error message if I try and run it interactively.

All I can figure out is some update installed recently is causing the problem. I'm using the same version of the proprietary ATI video drivers since May 22nd. But my kernel has updated recently. The only other significant change I can find is the xorg-x11 packages were updated on June 16th. I probably didn't reboot until June 22nd, I believe.

Any suggestions?
