Bad genome file (v2d7b)?

I think I'm getting a bad genome file, which is causing Electricsheep to terminate when it tries to render. From what I can tell, the genome is getting downloaded here:

get_control_points nice -n 10 curl --silent --show-error 'http://v2d7b.sheepserver.net/cgi/get?n=2sheds&w=&v=LNX_2.7b4&u=9B49FA697A23B4F6&r=1&c=1' | gunzip -c

But eventually I get this error, right before the program terminates:

not well-formed (invalid token) at line 3

The file contents look like this:

<get gen="243" id="83" job="19">
<args time="19" bits="33" format="jpg" jpeg="75"/>
<flame</get>
