This is starting to really annoy me. This is the second time that this has happened to me. When I install a new version of electric sheep I forget to set the max size off the default 2000mb. So in turn I end up deleting a large chunk of my past 3 months of sheep because it cuts it down to 2000mb of sheep. This is just plain annoying and it would be nice if there was a setup screen right when the program installs for things exactly like that. Just a thought. Or if people could complile packs of older sheep from this generation so I can get my collection back. Thanks :D

Unless you're talking about when they switched to avi's, I'm pretty sure its the file size limiter since this is the second time this has happened. First when I switched from ElectricSheep_2_7b11 to ElectricSheep_2_7b15 and then its happened again when I switched to ElectricSheep_2_7b17. Each time I forget and lose gigs upon gigs of sheep and it's very annoying.

sorry, that does suck. the problem is the beta versions put the version number into the config file so we could change the format and not worry about it. but i think it's settling down and people have more sheep now, so we will stop this practice.

It's not about the file size limiter, the new program is incompatible with the old sheeps.
